    Over the years many of our renters enjoy having Chef Miguel Playa del Secreto's "Chef at Large" (my husband) prepare for them a few of their meals so they can try some of the regional Mayan Dishes and the fresh fish and seafood that is caught daily. They tell me that it is one of the highlights of their trip!

    Our Menu has a variety of Mexican, Mayan, Fresh Seafood & Fish Dinners to choice from - all served family style or as a buffet. One of the favorites is the Regional Pork Dish (Cochinita) made with Fresh Pork roasted in banana leaves seasoned with mild spices and orange juice, then shredded and served with warm tortillas. Along with Traditional Mayan Dishes such as Black Beans, Mexican Rice, Flautas, Enchiladas with Red and Green sauce, Guacamole, Flan and Margaritas. "Bontanas" (Snacks) also available.

    Have fun trying regional Mayan & Caribbean Food and experience the "Sazon y Sentimiento" (Taste and Feeling) of Mexico.

Mexican Welcome dinner - $18 per person

Over the years many of our guest really enjoy the welcome dinner, lets them relax the first night and get their bearings.

Mayan Dinner - $20 per person

COCHINITA IS OUR MOST REQUESTED DISH!!

  • Cochinita Pibil - Pork seasoned with Achoide (Mayan red seasoning - not hot!) Wrapped in banana leaves roasted in sour orange juice - served shredded along with corn or flour tortillas for making tacos.
  • Chile Rellenos - Poblano Chilies  stuffed with Manchego cheese battered and fried.

Arrachera is a Mexican cut of flank steak - very tender - lots of flavor!

What is a Jicama?

It's a root vegetable, the inside is white with a crisp texture that resembles raw potato or pear. The flavor is sweet and starchy, reminiscent of some apples.

It doesn't get much fresher!

At different times of the year we have Snapper, Grouper, Hogfish and Mahi Mahi, depending on what the local fishermen catch!

We also are happy to clean and prepare any fish you caught.

Meal Ordering

Meal Service is only for groups renting one of the villas listed on this website.

Order meals ONE day in advance if possible so we can shop fresh for your meal.

Note: There is a $15 delivery charge per order from villas other than the Secret Beach Villas.

No meals on Sundays or Holidays
